Monday - Scaffolding setup
Today - it rained overnight but dried out pretty quickly.
Craig and Ed came by for a couple of hours this afternoon to set up the scaffolding. Here's what it looks like now. You can see that the chimney looks pretty bad at the moment.
They covered the pachysandra with a tarp and tied back the holly with some burlap I had on hand.
Tomorrow - remove bad stucco, espalier wires and screw eyes, Fire pump casting (it will go back up at the end), and cover the chimney with wire mesh - except for the blue stone.
Let's just hope the rain holds off a bit. We seem to get every sort of weather every day now. Today it was cool and wet in the morning and sunny and warm in the afternoon. I think it hit 75ยบ today!
By the way, These are high resolution pictures. If you click on them you can see a larger view and if you click on that view you can zoom in. You'll need to use the back button on the browser to navigate back here. (Yes this is obvious for veteran surfers.)
